Who Are You Chasing?

  • New pedals?


  • Bethel’s vibe?

  • Happiness?

  • A bigger worship team?

Or

  • Anointing?


  • God’s heart?

  • Intimacy?

  • Fullness?

To quote Saint Augustine, “You have made us for Yourself, O LORD and our heart is restless until it rests in you.”

We are chasers. By design, I think. The whole setup is for us to respond to God’s invitation. We have deep longings, perhaps hidden and masquerading as burnout. But they are there nonetheless, buried. Waiting for Spring. Waiting for signs of new life.

Take a moment and ask the LORD what you’ve been chasing. Then, ask Him what He’s inviting you to chase. And then shift the whole of your focus into what He says.
