We Made It!

We made it! 2020 is 99% in the rearview mirror. Phew!

I’m not being glib. We have lived in the goodness of God this year.

Not your typical “when the world’s all as it should be” and more of “on the road that’s marked with suffering.”

But if you’re reading this because you made it, gratefulness to the LORD can well up in your heart. We can say together, “Blessed be Your name!”

And get this: He has something in store for you in 2021!

One of my friends sings two versions of the bridge of that song. One is the original “You give and take away,” which is a direct quote of the scripture. But if you look at the nature and character of God, it’s also appropriate to sing “You give and give again.”

What does that stir up in your heart?

I’ve asked this question regularly over the last several years: What is God inviting me into?

I encourage us to take some time reflecting and dreaming. Ask Him what His “good” is for your team, for your family, for your life.
